Greetings Pastors and Spouses, Prayer Partners and Friends;
Here it is Labor Day Weekend already - signaling the end of summer. The kids in our area are now back in school (5 of our 6 grandchildren are now in school - the youngest has a few years to go before he can start). With the start of school also comes the start of the sports season. All three of our oldest son's children are in sports (our youngest son's children aren't old enough yet) so between watching our two granddaughter's soccer matches and our oldest grandson's football games, we'll be kept busy when we're home. In fact our oldest grandson (a freshman in High School) already had a scrimmage that we attended (he caught a couple of touchdown passes) and their first game of the season. While he is normally a starting wide receiver on offense he ended up playing quarterback in their first game because the starting quarterback got hurt part way through the game. While it was not his normal position, he did very well. We were impressed.
This reminds me of the church and how it's a team effort. It takes everyone doing their part and when someone is unable to do their part it takes others who are willing to step in. On this Labor Day Weekend as we recognize and honor all the laborers across America, we also want to salute and recognize all those who labor for the Kingdom in our churches. Each week we get to see first hand; dedicated, willing, gifted laborers serving Christ in our churches. Giving of their time, their energy and even of their finances to serve.
Paul encourages the laborers for the Lord with these words, "...be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." (I Corinthians 15:58).
Now let me tell you about last weekend and what you were a part of through your prayers.
SPOONER, WI - This past Sunday, Beth and I ministered at Living Hope Fellowship (Assemblies of God) in Spooner, WI (located in northwestern Wisconsin - about 100 miles northeast of Minneapolis, MN); pastored by Dennis and Jan Kruger. This was our third time to minister at Living Hope and once again God touched lives in a wonderful way. On Sunday morning, Beth led in worship and then I preached a message dealing with who our Father is through Christ, what He is like and what we have available to us. It was beautiful how God led us to preach a message that dove-tailed so well with the study the pastor taught in the Adult Sunday School class. At the end of the service there were people we prayed with who made first time commitments of their lives to Christ, others prayed to recommit their lives to Christ. Also, people came forward desiring a greater realization of who they are and what they have in God through Christ. We prayed for them and then we prayed for those who had needs. It was an exciting morning and we thank God for what He did in the service! It was a powerful morning! Thank you for praying!
BURLINGTON, WI - This coming Sunday, Beth and I will be ministering at Burlington Assembly of God in Burlington, WI (located in southeastern Wisconsin - about an hour southeast of where we live); pastored by Howard Edwards. This will be our fourth time to minister at Burlington Assembly. Please join us in praying that God will pour out His Holy Spirit!
SOUTHEASTERN TOUR MAILINGS - The mailings have now gone out to the Assemblies of God churches in the Pen-Florida and West Florida Districts. Now we'll begin working on the mailing to the churches of the Georgia District, which should go out later this month. After that we'll be working on mailing to the South Carolina District. Please join us in praying that the doors will open wherever God would want us to minister. God has been so faithful to open doors and we need Him to continue to do so.
2010 SCHEDULE - If you would like to see our remaining schedule for 2010, go to our Website at: www.billjuonifreshfire.com
ETHIOPIA UPDATE - Now that the plane tickets have been purchased and the housing arrangements have been made for our upcoming ministry trip to Ethiopia in early December, we are now beginning to work on the shots and pills we will need. We will need to get shots or pills for typhoid, yellow fever and malaria and perhaps a few other things too. We'll keep you updated.
FACEBOOK - Each week Beth continues to make new friends on Facebook. If you are new to our emailing and would like to connect with her on Facebook - go to www.Facebook.com and make a friend request to Beth M Juoni. It's been incredible to see the people she has connected with from across the country and even overseas. We have found former parishioners, pastor friends, evangelist friends and many new friends.
GIVING TO THE MINISTRY THAT WILL COST YOU NOTHING - You can do this by making GoodSearch your search engine and designating us to be the receiving non-profit organization. You can find the details at the end of this emailing.
CLOSING THOUGHTS - This past week I read an article by Julie Link in which she described how her dog, Maggie, heard a woodchuck rustling in the bushes and ran after it and chased it up a tree. Julie called the dog back into the yard and the dog came back but she couldn't get the dog to look at her. She said that although Maggie was near her physically, her thoughts and desires were with that woodchuck. She said it reminded her of how quickly we can become preoccupied with things that take our eyes off Jesus. Temptations, responsibilities, desire for possessions or pleasure can quickly divert our attention from the One who knows us and wants what is best for us. May our prayer and desire as laborers for the Lord be that the focus is on Jesus and not on worthless things. Her conclusion was that, "when Christ is the center of our life, all else comes into proper focus". Remember that old chorus, "turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of this earth will grow strangely dim".
Thanks for laboring for the Lord by praying for us. Let's agree together for God to touch lives in Burlington, WI this Sunday!
Together in His Service with You,
Bill and Beth

GIVING TO FRESH FIRE MINISTRIES THAT WILL COST YOU NOTHING AND WILL KEEP ON GIVING - Each week we have new people being added to our ministry emailing list so we want to pass this information on to them (if you have read this before just disregard it). GoodSearch is a search engine like Google or Yahoo (in fact it is a subsidiary of Yahoo and is powered by Yahoo). What Yahoo did was create a separate search engine through which part of their profits would be given to non-profit organizations. When you make GoodSearch your search engine and you list our ministry as the one you want to donate to - each time you use your computer and make a search using GoodSearch, a donation from their advertising profits is made to our ministry. It costs you absolutely nothing but our ministry gets a donation! All you have to do is make GoodSearch your search engine. In fact the easiest way to do it would be to make GoodSearch your homepage. Another way is to list GoodSearch in your "favorites" and then use it each time you make a search. Also, you can do online shopping from GoodSearch. All the major retailers are listed: Wall-Mart, Target, Staples, Macy's, Nike, Best Buy, Barnes and Noble, Kohl's, plus dozens of others. When you buy something online by using the GoodSearch search engine, they will donate up to 37% of the sale to our ministry. Again, it costs you absolutely nothing but our ministry gets a donation! We have been using GoodSearch as our homepage and it has worked great and our ministry has already received donations just from our own searches. We noticed that other Assemblies of God ministries are listed as participating recipients such as; the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and the Assemblies of God Marriage Encounter. To get started all it takes is a couple of clicks of the mouse. First go to: www.goodsearch.com/ (while there you can check out GoodSearch for yourself). To make GoodSearch your homepage, click the prompt found in the middle of the page that says "Make GoodSearch Your Homepage" and follow the short, simple instructions. Then to select us as the receiving non-profit organization go to "Who do you GoodSearch for?" and type in our name "Bill Juoni Fresh Fire Ministries" and click the arrow. Or you can go to the listing of non-profit organizations by clicking on "Participating Non-Profits" found at the very bottom of the page or on the side bar. Find "Bill Juoni Fresh Fire Ministries - Fort Atkinson, WI" (they are listed alphabetically - the last time we checked we were in list #27 under the "BE" listings) and click on it (do not click on Fresh Fire World Ministries, that is not us but a ministry in Virginia). That's all there is to it. There is nothing to sign. You can quit, change search engines or change the receiving non-profit organization at any time. Your participation is a gift to the ministry that will cost you nothing and will keep on giving all year round! If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at: juonib@cni-usa.com
